Love the polyrhythms, however would like more bass, melody, and variety.

Gougou responds:

Ok I will try

Sounds great! I would love for some melody though, because if you just keep repeating a section of music over and over again it starts to get boring. I understand this is in the dub/drumstep genre but improvements can be made. Overall great job!

NoteBreaker responds:

Thanks! I do sometimes feel like my songs are a bit repetitive and not so great but after you finish a good part you just get lazy to finish the whole song. xD

This song is mostly on one level of excitement. The melody basically doesn't change, and it's the same with the key. I understand that the drum line is constantly changing, but it doesn't add as much interest as changing the actual melodic line.

ShareeBon responds:

Oh well!

Sounds great! The only objection I would make is for you to use some quantization. It would really help balance some of the rhythms out. Other than that, its good! :)

LagomyDrago responds:

Not going to lie to you - I am still fairly young and dumb when it comes to the precision and nuances of musical tuning. I spent about an hour just reading up on quantization, and had no idea such a feature even existed. Thank you, very much! I will definitely play around with that. I do like to preserve the odd idiosyncratic melodies that are rife in hand-played songs, but certainly my production quality could stand to see huge rooms in improvement in terms of beat consistency.

Really nice! However, one main complaint I have is that the constant arpeggiation of the bell synth is kind of annoying (sometimes). Other than that, I love it!

Geoplex responds:

Actually yeah I used those a lot. I think that's pretty fair lmao
